From May to September, beach bars called xiringuitos are set up in Cambrils. Here you can enjoy delicious paella or the freshest fish with your feet in the sand. Order a pitcher of Sangria con Cava and you're guaranteed a fantastic afternoon!
KM0 - This Xiri is part of Camping Joan and is one of our favorite beach bars in Cambrils. Besides lots of fresh fish, they also serve delicious paella. You can always order paella for two people or more, and the price on the menu is per person. We're fans of the strawberry mojito they serve here. The beach at this Xiri is a lovely sandy beach, with a shallow pool, making it perfect for children. Don't forget your scoop nets!
Eldorado - This Xiri is part of the holiday resort of the same name. This one is a bit more luxurious and also has the finest sunbeds and beautiful tropical parasols. If you want to have lunch at a Xiri, make sure you get there at 2 p.m. for the best chance of a table. The kitchens close around 4 p.m. until dinner, which doesn't start until 8 p.m.
Xiri Felic - This Xiri isn't located in Cambrils, but in neighboring Mont-roig Bahia, and it definitely deserves a spot on this list. There are sunbeds and parasols available. They serve slightly more upscale food, with most dishes designed for sharing. Make a reservation for lunch, as the xiri are popular, especially on weekends! Parking is practically in front of the door, but this beach club is also easily accessible by bike.
Rosita - This Xiri is located at the tip of Cambrils, near Mont-roig Bahia. This is definitely the nicest in terms of appearance, because everything here is pink!
Fina- Beautiful atmospheric Xiri with a delicious menu.
L’ Indret- This Xiri belongs to restaurant L’Indret, near the centre of Cambrils. In the summer, the xiri are also open in the evenings, and especially at Indret, there are sometimes parties celebrated then.
